On Wednesday night the Falcons traveled to Capital Christian to play the Cougars. After a slow start to the first quarter the Cougars pulled ahead of the Falcons 15-11 as neither team could get anything going in the first 4 minutes. The Cougars started the second quarter with a lot of momentum as they were hot from the 3 point line while the Falcons were falling behind at a score of 32-22. In the 3rd quarter the Falcons started to make some shots of their own, but the Falcons couldn’t catch up to the Cougars explosive offense as the quarter ended 52-42. The 4th quarter was very fast paced with a lot of scoring as both teams were trading buckets, but the Falcons could never catch up to the Cougars as the game ended 77-65. The top 3 scorers of the game were Shawn Underwood ‘25 with 21 points, Exander Irving-Romero 24’ with 14 points, and Joey Vanacore 23’ with 11 points. The Falcons are now 11-10 and face the El Camino Eagles at El Camino High School on Friday night. Good Luck Falcons!
