This past Tuesday night the Men's Soccer team took on a tough league rival of Rio Americano. The Falcons knew coming into this game that physicality and good defense would lead to a win. The team started with a good backline, led by Demonte Robinson ('22), stopping Rio's early momentum. At halftime shots on goal had been a seldom occurance leading to a score of 0-0. The boys picked up right where they left off, keeping the pressure and physicality up on the Raiders. Late yellow cards for the Falcons led to a momentum swing in favor of the Raiders. A late second half goal gave Rio the lead of (1-0). The Falcon's kept there energy up, but unfortunatley were not able to put one in the back of the net. This led to a final score of (1-0).
Their next game will be on Thursday(1/20 vs. Del Campo.)
