The Christian Brothers Falcons took on the Reno Huskies Friday night. The game started off hot with an 8 minute offensive drive, and finished with a 20 yard touchdown pass from William Littlejohn '24 to Isaiah Jordan '25. On the defensive side of the ball, Mason Vicari '24 forced a fumble. Unfortunately the offense couldn't capitalize turning the ball back over to Reno who went onto score that drive. The Falcons offense went into a slump going into halftime. Coming out of halftime the falcons pitched a shutout, led by Mason Vicari '24 who had 4 sacks. Josiah Cambell '25 also led the defense with 13 tackles. The Falcon offense picked back up late in the 3rd Quarter with Ezekiel Castex running the ball behind senior linemen Lorenzo Bautista, Mason Vicari and Yonathan Cervantes. In the 4th quarter Shawn Underwwod caught 2 touchdowns in his varsity debut from William Littlejohn '24 and Deakon Holden '26. The Falcons pulled off the win with a score of 26-6 at Reno starting the year off strong 1-0. Next week the Falcons look to take out a stronger Pleasant Grove with another road game on Friday the 25th.
