CB now travels to The Ridge in Auburn, CA on Monday the 21st to play for the sections. Thirteen teams and thirty individuals will vie for advancement on one of the toughest courses in Northern California. The Division III sections are also one of the hardest tournaments with only two teams moving on along the top six individuals. To be sure this is a tall order but these Falcons are tough and ready for the challenge. This match will require, patience, smart play and confident putting on very fast greens. We are accepting of the challenge and you never know what can happen.
2019 has proven to be a year of growth and accomplishment, but we are not done yet.

We appreciate your support over this fall, this is the tournament we have been preparing for. We have a very good team, a very good chance to advance and very good student-athletes as ambassadors for all the things CB represents. So if you can pray for us on Monday, ask De La Salle for:
Long straight tee-shots
Approach shots that reach the green
Easy putts
And clear heads and a competitive spirit
And the belief that something good is going to happen!
Women’s Tennis
The Lady Falcons kicked off a potentially historic week on Tuesday with their most important match of the year so far. They hosted the 1st place Vista Del Lago Eagles on Senior Night, in a rematch against the team that handed the girls their only loss of the season.
Before the match started, the girls honored and thanked Kennedy Gudmann '20, Isabella Ledesma '20 (Izzy), Sydney Obmann '20, Isabella (Isa) Warford '20 and Lily Witry '20 with flowers, pictures, cake and even a visit from the school mascot.
Once the festivities were over, the match was a hard-fought battle from the start. Ai-Linh Tran '21 (Linh) won 6-1, 6-2 while the senior duo of Witry '20 and Warford '20 prevailed 6-0, 6-2. However, the Eagles top two seeds responded by defeating Fiona Babcock '21 and Bianca Cabanag '21 by identical scores of 1-6, 3-6.
From there the match went back and forth. Tessa Easterling '22 persevered 6-0 and 7-5, while Obmann '20 went to a third set before falling 6-2, 4-6, and 1-6. The duos of Emma Emigh '21 and Lena Mikacich '22, as well as Gudmann '20 and Mariana Garcia '21 were both victorious in their three set matches, completing the sweep on the doubles side. Lola Jan '21 (Lo) wrapped things up on the singles side by winning 6-3, 4-6, and 6-4 to give Christian Brothers the 6-3 victory.
The win gave the girls a huge boost as they traveled to face the El Camino Eagles on Thursday.
