The Junior Varsity Men’s Basketball team heads into the 2019-2020 season looking to build on the success they had as Freshmen. Practices have been intense, spirited, and fun, promising a season filled with fast breaks, hard defense, and focused energy on both sides of the court. Recent scrimmages indicate these Falcons are primed and ready to compete against our first two opponents of the season - Valley High (at Christian Brothers) on Friday, November 22 at 5:30pm and River City High (at River City) on Saturday, November 23 at 11:30am. We would like to thank everyone who tried out for the team, and we encourage all of you to come out and watch these Falcons fly all over the court!
Men’s Varsity Soccer
The soccer season is underway and the varsity boys are excited to get going. Now that Fall sports are over the team is at full-strength, with a number of the players being multi-sport athletes. The team enters the season with some high expectations, with many returning players from last season’s section quarter-finalists. The team begins their season with a match against Kennedy on Tuesday, 11/26 at SCC. This year’s squad looks to play a fast-paced, attacking style of soccer. Come out and support your Falcons at City College on Tuesday.
