Last year was a successful season for the cross country program, with the men’s team having finished 2nd in the Sac Joaquin section and 9th overall in the state. That team was led by almost all seniors who have now graduated, so they will be looking for new runners to step up. Among those lost are Isaiah Jimenez ’19, a state qualifier each of his four years at Christian Brothers. However, the future looks bright as last year’s freshman team finished 1st in the Sac Joaquin Subsection and JV finished 4th. On the women’s side, Malia Gay ’21 looks to lead the team, as she was the lone runner to qualify for state championships last year. A new group of freshman and returning sophomores give the team plenty of depth this season as they look to improve on last season's results.
The Falcons will look to continue their success from last year when they open up the season on September 7 with the Lowell Invitational meet.
