On Monday night the Falcons went on the road to play the Del Campo Cougars for the second time this season. Carrying over the momentum from their win against the Eagles, the Falcons started off the 1st quarter hot and got up to a 23-10 lead. The Falcons were on fire from the three point line in the 2nd quarter and kept their lead from the 1st quarter at 38-24. In the 3rd quarter the Falcons had some key stops on defense which fueled their offense as they increased their lead at 58-37. Although the Falcons let go in the 4th quarter, they were still able to close out this game with a score of 71-58. The top 3 scorers for last night’s game were Shawn Underwood ‘25 with 15 points, Kamari Simpson ‘24 with 15 points, and Exander Irving-Romero with 12 points. After last night’s game, the Falcons broke back even at 13-13 on the season and they play against the Capital Christian Cougars tomorrow night at home. Make sure to come out and cheer on your Falcons!
