The Christian Brothers Falcons played the Winters Warriors in a non-conference away game last Friday. The team started off the game strong, scoring 7 runs in the first 3 innings. Starting on the mound for the Falcons was Justin Kim '19, who pitched 3 scoreless innings and had 6 strike outs. Justin Johnson '19 and Max Martinez '20 had an amazing offensive game with Johnson hitting two home runs and Martinez hitting one homer. CB finished the game with a 10-2 victory. The Falcons' win brought their overall record to 3-0 and instilled high confidence.
Brothers play their next game at home against the Sacramento High - Dragons. Come and watch the boys Tuesday, March 19 at 4:00 PM.
"We feel pretty confident going into the game against Sac High based on how we played against Winters," Justin Johnson '19 says. "We feel confident that were going to make it to the playoffs and the ultimate goals to win sections."
