Coach Barsanti has been all the rave when it comes to his 2019 Women's Golf team. These young women have shown up every match, and compete at a very high level. Barsanti thought the ladies would need to shoot bogie golf this season to compete, but they are surpassing even that. Coach has been coming up with new strategies to convey the golfing message to the team and it has been very successful.
In their last match against Sacramento High School, the ladies shot a 163 on Bing Maloney's E9. Ja’lece hickey ’21 made her debut on the varsity shooting 37 with a birdie on her very first hole played! Other very good scores were; Carina singer ’20- 32, Alison Oliviera ’22-31, Bella Esquivel’21-33, Kathryn Maebori ’20- 32 and Brie Briggs’23 with a sharp 35. This was a good score on a short course where our short game skills were tested.
We are looking forward to what is to come with this season, way to play ladies!!!
