This past Saturday, our school's cross country teams showcased their exceptional talent and determination at the highly anticipated sub-sections meet. Both our men's and women's varsity teams secured their spots in the upcoming sections by delivering outstanding performances. Additionally, our women's Frosh/Soph team secured a first-place finish, while our men's sophomore team came in second-place ensuring their participation in the sections next Saturday.
Mens Varsity Team: Our men's varsity team demonstrated their training, skill, and competetiveness in Frogtown, Angels camp, this past Saturday, earning a remarkable 5th place finish in the subsections meet. Their performance not only showcased their individual skills but also highlighted their teamwork and dedication. With this impressive achievement, they have earned the opportunity to compete in the upcoming sections meet, where they will undoubtedly leave their mark and hopefully qualify for the state championships!
Women's Varsity Team: The women's varsity team achievied an outstanding 2nd place finish in the subsections meet. Their efforts and spirit propelled them to secure their well-deserved spot in the sections meet next Saturday. With their consistent performances and strong team dynamic, they are poised to make a lasting impression in the upcoming competition with a high chance of qualifing for states!
Men's Sophomore Team & Women's Frosh/Soph Team: The women's Frosh/Soph team showed their potential by coming in a remarkable first-place finish in the subsections meet. The men's sophomore team also showcased their talent and drive, taking a second-place finish in the subsections meet.
All of our Cross country teams have done extrordinarily well this season with JV teams ending their season off with a great race at sub-sections and both of our varisty teams, sophomore boys, and frosh/soph girls qualifing to compete at sections!
