The Falcons played Ponderosa High on Wednesday night at home for the first game of the playoffs. The Brothers ended the season with a 18 - 12 record and 7 - 5 in league. They came into this game following a loss to Capital Christan looking to claim a win and advance further into the postseason. In the first quarter the Brothers took the lead 16 - 12 and were tied at the half 31 - 31. The Falcons came out of the locker room in the 3rd quarter to go on a 19 - 10 point run against the Bruins. The Falcons finished off the game with an 8 point lead, beating Pondo 63 - 55. Stephan Hewitt lead the Falcons with an incredible 30 points to help the falcons take home the win. The Brothers now advance to the second round of playoffs looking to survive and move on. They play away at Placer this Friday hoping to take a victory and retrun home next week for the 3rd round of playoffs.
