The FALCONS are Mens Soccer Cal League Champions! Coming into the final league game of the year the Christian Brother Falcons had a record of 9-3-2 looking to win league againts Vista Del Lago. As Vista formally held the record of 13-2-3, the Falcons needed a win in order to win league. After the first half the game was tied at a score of 1-1, as the Falcons could not afford to tie, they needed a big second half to become league champs. And that is exactly what happened! The Falcons came out hot not allowing Vista to threaten them of a league championship. Senior Collin Ross '24, pushed the falcons on top thanks to his steller performance of one goal and one assist. But great offense needs to be backed by great defense. And senior goalie Nick Baass '24 did just that, only allowing two goals and having five saves. Along with the five saves, Nick Baass '24 had a blocked penalty kick. When the final whistle blew, your Christian Brother Falcons were victorious with a final score of 3-2. The Falcons will play Friday night at home to start section playoffs.
