Last Friday the Men’s Varsity water polo team headed to Clovis for the two day Clovis Invitational Tournament. The competition was fierce as the boys took on the likes of Leland and Clovis West on Friday. In their first game against Leland, the boys kept it close but were defeated 7-5. Their second game, against Clovis West, ended in a miserable 16-7 loss. Eagerly wanting a win, the boys took on Turlock, Saturday Morning. This Turlock matchup was another close game, with the Brothers going to double overtime. Our falcons came out on top in dramatic fashion as David Pearson ’20 (Falcon Athlete of the week) scored the game-winning goal in the 8-7 win. The final game resulted in a loss against a strong Monte Vista squad. The team is looking forward to jumping right into league play this Wednesday, as they take on the El Camino Eagles at 4 pm. Good Luck in your first home game boys.
