Coming off a disappointing loss to Pleasant Grove the Falcons looked to get back into the win column against Rodriguez. Unfortunately for the Falcons they would be without two key players in, juniors Ezekiel Castex and Josiah Campbell and senior William Littlejohn on limited minutes due to sickness. However, even with these setbacks the Falcons managed to come out with a very dominant 42-20 win. Led by sophomore quarterback Deakon Holden and Junior Daniel Kamara the Falcons offense was rolling the whole game. In the air, quarterback Deakon Holden managed to connect with every receiver for at least one catch. He threw for a total of 155 yards and 1 touchdown on 12 completions. On the ground, Daniel Kamara ran for 161 yards with 3 touchdowns on 17 carries. On the other side of the ball the Falcons defense started off strong with a turnover on 4th down. Throughout the game the defense stayed strong including a goal line interception by senior Weston Green. To finish the game senior Daniel Pierson scored on a run to put the game away. This week the Falcons look to carry this momentum into Holy Bowl on Saturday.
