Over spring break the Christian Brothers baseball team played 6 games with a total of 3 wins and 3 loses. The Falcons were able to bring their overall record to 10-8.
On March 12, the Falcons played El Camino and won with a run rule in 5th inning with a score of 14-0. Jordan Gonzales '20 pitched for the Falcons all 5 innings only giving up 2 hits. Graeme Farrell '19 had an amazing offensive game going 2-3 with 2 doubles.
The next day on the 13th, our boys played against Whitney and got their second win 4-3. Justin Kim '19 had a bat on fire and went 2-4 with 2 RBI's and 1 double. Starting on the bump for the Falcons was Graeme Farrell '19 who had no earned runs and five strike outs.
Continuing in the Easter Tournament, on the 13th the Falcons played Vintage and won 10-5. Reed Mercer '20 had a hot bat this game going 3-3 with 1 double and 3 RBI's. George Rios '21 started for the Falcons and pitched 6 innings.
On the 16th the Falcons played Ponderosa Bruins and got their first loss of the week losing 2-0. Pitching for Christian Brothers was Jordan Gonzales '20.
The same day, the boys played Woodcreek and also lost 2-0. The Falcons had a great defensive game with no errors on the field. Starting on the mound and pitching 6 innings was Stephen Sedleniek '19.
For the last game of break the Falcons played Vista Del Lago and sadly loss a close game with a score of 3-4. Graeme Farrell '19 had another good offensive game going 1-3 with a double. Jordan Gonzales '20 was pitching again for the Falcons and pitched all 7 innings.
