This Friday our Falcons play the biggest game of the year against the Vista Del Lago Eagles. Vista holds the same record as our Falcons, 5-3, with a league record of 3-1. The Eagles average 44 points a game behind a powerful offense. Their defense is one that gets turnovers at pivotal points in the game, however fails to get stops consistently. This opens the door for the Falcon's offense to take advantage and score a lot of points, even more than usual. Throughout this week in practice, CB's defense has looked energetic and ready to get after the Eagle's offense (per unnamed source). Anchored by Marcus Price('23), the Falcon defense's main focus this week is stopping the run. This is something they have been working towards maintaing all season. On the offensive side of the ball, the Falcon's hope to maintain their momentum from the past three games and continue to score lots of points. Lead by RB's D.J. Crowther('22) and Jackson Burelson('22), CB has put together a powerful run game consistently throughout the season and hope to continue keeping it on the ground against Vista. A consistent offense mixed with a productive defense is the key to a Falcons victory this Friday night at Peter P. Bollinger '57 Stadium.
JV plays for the league championship this Friday at 5 P.M. against Vista Del Lago. Varsity hopes to continue to run the table against Vista at 7 P.M. Both games are being played at Peter P. Bollinger '57 Stadium. Go Falcons!! Run the Table!!
