The fall breeze lightly blows through the open door across Sac City's Hoos Pool. It's that time of the year again for women's water polo. Christian Brothers Women's Water Polo team seek to reclaim their honor and integrity after a tough 1-11 season. However, in their one victory of the season, then senior Alyce Munoz shined bringing in 9 of the teams 16 goals with Sophia Bray-Flores ('20) also contributing with one assist, and bringing in the majority of assists throughout the season.
Though the captain of last years team has graduated, up and coming seniors such as Lizzie Blake, Sophia Bray-Flores, Emma Busch, Mierra Haroldson, Abby Kauss, McKenna Purdy, and Mia Sanchez-Bejar hope to lead the 2019-2020 team to a much more successful season. This years Falcons are practicing hard everyday already in their quest for the Section Championship. With their seniors' experience and the brand new skills of the new juniors, this years women's water polo team has a good shot at bringing CB another section title.
