JV girls soccer team had a rough week. Started by playing tough match against Del Campo HS on Tuesday, Jan 16th. Played tough match in the rain. Had several opportunities during the match which just didn't connect for goal scoring. End result was tie 0-0. The team rebounded back on Wednesday, Jan 17th with a tough home match against Rio Americano HS. With several players either sick or injured from back to back games, the current players available battled and were able to muster a 1-0 victory. Girls battled for every play and many of them had to play in different positions which they hadn't played before or not so comfortable playing. Very proud of our JV girls soccer team. Our next competition will be away match against Rio Americano HS again on Thursday, January 25th.
