The Falcons Varsity fell to Vanden this past Saturday losing by 1 run with a final score of 7-6. The brothers lost despite out-hitting vanden with 11 hits to their 8. Lucas Rado '25 and Joey Pelka '25 both led the team with 3 hits. Vanden captured a commanding lead, scoring 5 runs to CB's 1 run in the first inning. The falcons took the lead in the 5th inning after Joey Pelka hit a 2 run homer over the left field fence, giving them the lead making the game 6-5. Vanden eventually tied the game in the 6th and walked it off in the 7th inning. The falcons look to take over in League over these next two weeks where they play thier first two series against Del Campo this week and Rio the following week. The next home game is at 4:30 on Wednesday, March 13th.
